The George River caribou herd migrates into the Schefferville
caribou hunting area in September and October every year.
We
hunt caribou in an area in Quebec/Labrador that is accessible
by road. Depending on the migration routes, this can be a
very successful caribou hunt.
By not including any air service in this package, we are able
to keep the cost down. Most of our caribou hunters from this
package arrive by train. This train leaves Sept Isles, Quebec,
every Thursday and returns every Friday. The approximate cost
of the round trip ticket is $100.00 US. You will be provided
road transportation and accommodations in our house in Schefferville,
Quebec.
You
will find this caribou hunt easier on the wallet,
and the possibility of seeing large numbers of Caribou is
very real. This caribou hunting trip is one week long.
